Smallest car in history!

The 1962 Peel P50 is a 3 wheeled microcar built on Isle of Man (located by Ireland and England).
That's right a microCAR.

It's only 52.8 inches long and 39 inches wide with a height of 47.2 inches.

Now at first glance you think it's a childs toy or powerwheel.
It actually has a 4.2 hp engine, about the size of your average lawnmower.  Smaller Actually.
It weighs 130 pounds and can reach a top speed of at 38 mph.

The 2011 Peel P50 has a 3.5 hp 4 stroke engine combined with a continuously variable transmission with reverse.
If you plan on driving this car, you might be issued a moped license, or at least if you live in Finland.

In the old days P50's were sold for £199 each.  Today a buyer can get one for under $1000.
After all, it is a microcar.  MORE INTERESTING TOPICS!
